Symmetry Crew Solutions was founded by a small group of elite Gulfstream contract pilots who saw a growing need: operators acquiring advanced aircraft like the G700 or G800 were struggling to find pilots who could match the sophistication of their flight decks. Our roster includes former Gulfstream demonstration captains, production test pilots, and instructors from FlightSafety and OEM programs plus highly experienced pilots from the Gulfstream Corporate Fleet. Grady Montgomery
Co-Founder
Grady Montgomery brings an unparalleled depth of aviation expertise and entrepreneurial spirit to the forefront of pilot services. With over 10,700 total flight hours, including 8,600+ jet hours, Grady holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is type-rated on an impressive array of Gulfstream aircraft, including the latest GVIII (G700/800), GVII (G500/600), and GVI (G650), among others.
His distinguished career includes extensive international flying experience across 60+ countries, providing critical worldwide support for VIP and corporate operators as an experienced Contract Captain. Notably, Grady serves as a Transition Training Captain on the GVIII, sharing his advanced knowledge to train other pilots on G700/800 operations.
Beyond the cockpit, Grady's leadership is evident through his role as former Chief Pilot for Malphrus International, where he managed all aspects of a Part 91 flight department. As an aviation entrepreneur, he successfully founded and operated Airstream Aviation, a Part 135 charter and aerial tour company. Grady holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and remains actively engaged in professional development through NBAA Leadership and Gulfstream Operators Conferences, continuously upholding the highest standards of aviation excellence.
Brett Rundle
Co-Founder
Brett brings over 30 years of distinguished experience as a professional aviator, primarily within the elite world of Gulfstream Aerospace. A resident of Savannah, Georgia, Brett's career is marked by exceptional leadership and unparalleled operational expertise.
For over 20 of his 25 years with Gulfstream, Brett served as the Chief Demonstration Pilot, a testament to his profound skill and intimate knowledge of their aircraft. He is type-rated on a wide range of Gulfstream models, including the G200, G280, GV, GVI, GVII, and the latest GVIII aircraft. His prowess in the cockpit is further highlighted by holding multiple world city pair speed records, including complex polar operations.
Brett's leadership extends globally, having managed Gulfstream's Asia flight operations based in Hong Kong from 2012-2016. He is a Gulfstream Factory Master EIS (Entry-Into-Service) pilot, providing critical new aircraft deliveries and support for GVII and GVIII aircraft. His extensive international operational experience ensures seamless and expert navigation of complex global logistics.
A former NBAA Corporate Aviation Management Committee (CAMC) board member, Brett also managed a Part 91 corporate flight department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle University, underscoring his deep commitment to aviation excellence and safety.
